Insight Global Hiring for ServiceNow Developer – REMOTE EST at Oaks, PA Full Time

A financial services company is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join their team. The goal of this role will be to help this group use all that ServiceNow offers; currently they use ServiceNow but they need this person to help with process improvement, looking into their current environment and making recommendations to use their platform better, working with stakeholders to improve the platform etc.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Working with a dedicated team to design and build robust applications and service suites with a strong appreciation for the user experience
• Develop high-quality code with a full application context (all tiers) to ensure scalability, accessibility, usability and functional performance
• Collaborate with software engineers for implementation of features and provide constructive peer reviews during the development phases and throughout delivery
• Elevate and evangelize our shared processes and best practices across an array of languages and tools
• Contribute to our learning curriculums by preparing detailed artifacts to share and present to both technical and business audiences
• Deploy integrated code through various build pipelines on premise and in cloud
• Network with external service providers, internal development teams and business stakeholders to evaluate and execute integration requirements
• Perform proofs of concept to evaluate new design patterns, service integrations, and proposed solutions.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends, functionalities and tools in the industry for evaluation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer and/or ServiceNow Administrator supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of the ServiceNow platform (IT Service Management and IT Operations Management)
• Development experience with ServiceNow Scripting, Javascript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS and/or XML
• Experience working with REST and SOAP services; including integration with API support and Development
• System/Process Automation (Orchestration) experience
• Experience with ITSM and AMS systems in ServiceNow
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Experience building forms, workflows and pages that are customer focused and intuitive; including Service Portal organization and setup
• Experience with Database access methods and simple SQL constructs. SQL Experience a plus.
• Demonstrated a commitment to quality, writing unit tests

DESIRED SKILLS

• Financial Services, investment management, asset data and investment processing is a plus
