Position: Toxicologist

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Summary: Looking for Toxicologists at the Scientist-Senior levels to support ongoing regulatory and scientific review within Pharmacology and Toxicology Divisions across the Office of New Drugs for the FDA.

Objective: The objective is to provide scientific support for new and ongoing scientific analysis and regulatory review programs within the Office of New Drugs IO Pharmacology as described.

MUST HAVES

• Ph.D. degree in biology, pharmaceutical science or related discipline (such as immunology, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology)
• 4 + years of experience in academia or industry analyzing scientific data related to drug discovery or development, or any biological aspects needed for drug development i.e. Pathophysiology

DAY TO DAY

• Extensive knowledge in biology, pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline
• Demonstrated track record in analyzing and interpreting complex scientific datasets to deduce mechanisms of drug actions
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to network and build consensus within a multi-disciplinary organization.
• Drug development experience is desired, particularly regulatory science and research.
• The key tasks and responsibilities of the candidate will include:
• Scientific analysis of data submitted to regulatory applications
• Generating a report of such scientific analysis; i.e. review in a standardized data format
• Working with FDA scientists and staff in the review divisions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $69.00 per hour
