-2+ years of experience working within a coordination or administrative data focused position

An employer is seeking a Construction/Utilities Coordinator to join the Construction Department of a fortune 50 telecommunications company based out of Berlin, CT. This position will be a hybrid position between on-site in Berlin and remote work. This group is responsible for creating, handling, and reporting on all construction projects for the company in the region. This person will act as a Construction/Utilities Analyst and be responsible for the job creation workflow and milestone management of all construction projects as well as administrative quality control of jobs. They will mainly work within the company’s databases such as JT and Polaris and will create jobs within these projects, issue jobs to design, and manage the job through its lifecycle in terms of updating milestones. This resource will be responsible for running and creating reports, manipulation and data visualization, coordination and communication with business partners (mainly Eversource), and keeping track of budgets and money flow for the department. This person will perform data manipulation, mainly within Excel using VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, charts, and graphs to create reports and visual data representations. This person will interact often with business partners to make sure all project jobs are being completed on time and according to plan and budget. They will be responsible for final invoicing, and closing everything out once the job is complete including validated permits. This person must have clear communication skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Teams and WebEx for video conferencing and training. This person will also use Adobe Suite, specifically Adobe Pro when dealing with mail payments and checks from business partners and will need to properly document, track the payment information, and send this information to the internal finance team for processing. This person must be a self-starter with an eagerness to learn new skills and work collaboratively as part of a team.
