We are currently seeking a Claims Auditor to join the Finance/Billing team who will be responsible for performing routine and complex audit of claims adjudication and reimbursement. The Claims Auditor will summarize findings and provide recommendations to the reporting Supervisor and Manager. The position is expected to clearly understand the products & healthcare benefit services offered to patients, including the division of financial responsibility, as well as the associated limits and regulatory rules and guidelines.

To perform this position successfully you must the following skills and experience:

· Strong coding knowledge and most current LCDs

· Knowledge of specific contracts carve outs and global fees.

· At least 2 years complex claims processing and/or auditing experience in the health insurance industry or medical health care delivery system

· Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

. Medical terminology and good communication skills

. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and Google Spreadsheets

– Prior experience with Athena (EMR) a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $63,000.00 per year
