Job Summary
Inspire Hospice and Palliative Care continues to grow in the metro Atlanta area and is looking for an Area Quality and Compliance Manager to oversee and monitor the quality improvement initiatives of the organization. The Area Quality and Compliance Manager will lead the organization’s quality assurance and performance improvement program and collaborates with area and office leadership regarding quality and compliance. This role will provide education through staff meetings, skills training and webinars to ensure consistent communication among all team members.

Qualifications

• Current GA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Two years of home hospice experience is required.
• Two years of quality improvement experience, preferred.
• CHPN certification preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and have dependable transportation.
• Must be capable of communicating and ing data findings and trends with leadership and staff.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining rapport with management, staff and other members on the team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing, comprehensive, integrated assessments of the quality, compliance and appropriateness of care provided.
• Aggregate and trend data collected to correct identified problems in collaboration with management.
• Monitor all clinicians for effective interchange and coordination of care in providing care.
• Organize and lead quarterly quality assurance and performance improvement meetings and monthly performance improvement plans.
• Prepare annual Quality Improvement as part of annual agency evaluation.
• Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to all operations of the hospice agency.
• Chairs creation and direction of performance improvement plans through delegation of responsibility to supervisory and administrative personnel.
• Provides feedback to support public relations initiatives to foster supportive working relations with physicians and community partners.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Chief Clinical Officer.
