Responsibilities
Job description
- Prepare and analyze financial statements using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial management policies and procedures
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting principles
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
