Duties & Qualifications:
The Operations Manager opening is a full-time/exempt opportunity with a single client that is based in the greater Seattle, WA area. The Operations Manager will perform the duties as outlined below in a manner that will support the Client mission of enabling business by protecting critical assets and managing risk with a diverse, innovative, partner-oriented team.
Roles and responsibilities
o Take responsibility for their sub-program(s) and other assigned tasks
o Ensure that systems, policies, protocols, and procedures are recorded and applied to standard. To this aim, the manager may interact and interchange with subordinates and managers, synthesize logistics reports, and determine future courses of action
o Play a key role in formulating and implementing strategic transitions and improvements, with a focus on incorporating lessons learned in the operating environment into improved policy and optimal resource management
o Play a vital role in maximizing collaboration and efficient use of partner relationships and supplier services
o Work to support the Account Director and the Client to ensure mission success. Ensure that efforts are aligned and supporting the Client core values and strategic objectives
o Manage, and lead onsite supplier staff to ensure that their efforts are aligned and supporting the Client’s core values and strategic objectives
o Manage projects related to assigned sub-programs to ensure that they support the core mission of the Client program
o Perform in a manner that will support the Client mission of enabling business by protecting critical assets and managing risk with a diverse, innovative, partner-oriented team
o Evaluate the present and future security environment to better understand requirements, course of action development and mitigation strategies
o Demonstrate problem-solving, judgment, negotiating and decision-making skills
o Analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner
o Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills
o Identify resource and knowledge gaps and report to management and the Client through operational metrics
o Coordinate with stakeholders regarding projects and services to help mitigate risk and/or impact to Client security operations
o Conduct cost analysis and manage resources for sub-program projects
o Initiate and maintain critical relationships inside and outside of the program to support the Client security operations
o Conduct liaison with other organizations, including:
o Client Business Groups
o Client Security Partners
o Industry counterparts
o Law Enforcement and Emergency Services
o Clearly define objectives and strategies to meet both Client requirements and Inter-Con goals
o Maintain and enforce standards for business conduct, corporate culture, protocols, international customs and courtesies and personal appearance
o Maintain high degree of confidentiality and discretion
o Be able to use a personal computer, as well as other technologies and equipment
o Participate in training activities as required
o Participate in Team and Client meetings as required
o Effectively work with/communicate with others
o Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
o Maintain a level of physical fitness that supports their description of work.
Job Requirements:
o Minimum 5 years-experience in a security/protection related capacity in a corporate/private/Government setting
o Bachelor’s degree or higher
o Knowledge of security related technology solutions
o Experience with management of access control and video monitoring systems (Lenel/Milestone), preferred
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Strong Emotional Intelligence Skills
o Be comfortable in a dynamic working environment
o Must be detail-oriented, accurate and reliable
o Ability to perform duties onsite at the Client location
o Be familiar with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & OneNote)
o Ability to obtain a WA State Armed Security Guard license
o Valid driver’s license
o Valid Passport
o Must have reliable means of transportation
o Flexible work hours
