: This position is responsible for utilizing assessment options to identify and evaluate patient therapeutic, fitness, health behaviors, and/or sports performance exercise needs. This may include electrodiagnostic testing. The incumbent works with patients and clients to develop treatment programs to assist in rehabilitation, health, fitness, and/or sports performance goals.

Position scope includes a broad variety of advanced tests, exercises, and therapies. Advancement to this position must be based upon business need and must be approved by the direct supervisor and area director.
Job Essentials
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Exercise Physiology, Human Performance, Exercise Science or Kinesiology. If Bachelor’s degree is in Kinesiology must have three years of experience in exercise physiology. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm
Previous Cardiac Rehab Experience
Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Human Performance, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology and 1 year of experience.
Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-CEP)..
AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) certification.
ACLS Certification.
Upon Hire
ACLS or PALS Certification required within 6 months of hire.
Completion of the Intermountain/Primary Childrenxe2x80x99s advanced rhythm competency test.

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling.
