Job Overview

Responsible for platform-wide support of our core application and evolving micro-services, including building reports and meeting other customer and roadmap driven requests.

The position is available for REMOTE work.

Essential Functions

• Continuously improve our applications to meet customers’ needs by building tools, modules and features as we grow our offering.
• Develop code, primarily in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript.
• Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving, to validate requirements were met and code performs optimally.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and QA to ensure solution quality.
• Show up curious, be willing to ask questions, and ready to learn and grow as a software developer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

○ Bootcamp graduates and self-taught developers are encouraged to apply!

• Experience in one or more programming language, such as Ruby, Python, or C#.
• An understanding of the fundamental principles of object-oriented programming
• Experience in website development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• A strong understanding of JavaScript and being able to implement it cleanly is a big bonus.
• A basic understanding of relational databases.
