Who We Are
ISSIMI brings trust and transparency to the collector car industry. This niche, $28b industry of collectable and low-production cars has seen little innovation in the past several decades. It’s one that has been highly dependent on traditional dealers, brokers, and auction houses with unnecessarily high fees.
We are a small team with previous backgrounds in venture capital, private equity, consumer marketplaces, government, and OEMs such as Pagani and Ferrari. We believe our technological and operational excellence can decrease costs while increasing transparency into car quality, building trust between collectors.
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced technician to help with the onboarding part of our sales process, conducting a comprehensive mechanical inspection for every vehicle that is sold on our platform.
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive 500-point mechanical inspection on all high-end niche collector cars from many manufacturers across a broad value range
- Paint meter inspections using the Positector tool (training provided)
- Inputting completed inspections into our database
Qualifications
- 25 years or older, as required by our insurance policy to operate our vehicles
- Clean driving record
- 3+ years of experience in an automotive workshop
- Intensive attention to detail as you will be responsible for documentation condition of all vehicles
- Highly coachable, and open to feedback as we adapt and grow our business
- Experience with luxury and exotic automotive brands (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, etc) is a huge plus.
