Innovative Transport & Logistics Solutions LLC is currently seeking a part-time HR/Customer Service Generalist to join their team in Pensacola, FL 32502.
About the role:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing all HR-related duties, on a professional level. This position is responsible for areas: new hire on-boarding, assisting with benefits administration, manages employment relations issues, oversees workers’ compensation claims and leave of absence cases for the site. The HR Generalist will work with other HR Team Members
What you’ll do:
Manages all aspects of the recruitment-cycle for positions at the Wash Center: job positing, recruiting/sourcing, interviewing, pre-employment process and new hire on-boarding.
Ensures all new hire paperwork has been completed and data entered into the HRIS/Payroll System.
Completes weekly time and attendance for site employees.
Assists site leadership team with monitoring time & attendance of contract employees and serves as the liaison between the company and local staffing agencies.
Serves as point person for the communication of medical benefit and 401k information, including open enrollment, new hire enrollment and status changes.
Works closely with HR Director, General Manager & Operation’s Manager on employee relations issues at site, including harassment, safety events, employee complaints, etc.
Provides support for site leadership team on performance management and progressive discipline processes.
Manages workers’ compensation and unemployment claims for the site.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations in the states in which the company has employees.
Assists HR Director in tracking and reporting HR Metrics, including administering exit interviews.
Assists with Customer Service Calls on peak days (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
