General Description of Position:
The Part-Time Data Entry Specialist creates and processes adjunct faculty and mentor/development agreements and is responsible for data entry for the IvyOnline/Educational Technology Department. Responsible for maintenance of employee records and files. Assists and provides support to the Director of Human Resources (for IvyOnline).
Major Responsibilities:
Assists in administering the full-time and adjunct faculty agreement management processes, including creating faculty agreements, confirming appropriate contact hours and rate of pay, obtaining electronic signatures, and entry into HRIS.
Reviews adjunct faculty agreements and works with IvyOnline Faculty Leads and campus Human Resources to ensure compliance with course loading standards.
Assists in administering the mentor/development agreements and processing milestone payments which include confirming accuracy of contract and payment information, obtaining electronic signatures, and submitting to payroll.
Reviews and monitors IvyOnline data entry input for accuracy.
Runs reports to ensure accurate and timely contract payments.
Inputs, reviews and monitors employee data entered into HRIS to ensure validity and accuracy.
Assists with IvyOnline and HR projects as assigned.
Contacts IvyOnline team members of source documents to address data inconsistencies and to gather missing data.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma (or equivalent) with related professional experience is required. Associate degree preferred.
Two years’ experience in data entry/administrative support preferably in Payroll or Human Resources.
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, planning, evaluation and interpersonal skills required.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at an efficient speed required.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel), Google Aps (i.e., Drive, Sheets, Docs), and have experience with various software applications. Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
Must work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
Must demonstrate ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree.
Experience with HRIS systems.
