INSTALL TECH

JCS Inc. has an opening for an Install Technician to be based out of our Des Moines, IA office. We are a fiber optics integration company, specializing in fiber-to-the-home installations and fiber optic splicing. We mainly work for telephone companies throughout the state of Iowa/Missouri.

Tasks performed include, but are not limited to: house wiring, termination ends of cables (Cat 5e, Coax). Applicants must also have basic working knowledge of all hand tools, basic power tools (drills, saws, etc.) as well as basic knowledge of computers.

We are willing to train.

Applicants must:

• Overnight travel often required.

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record REQUIRED (within the last 5 years)
• Be computer proficient
• Available to work overtime and weekends (as needed)
• MUST pass a drug screen

Wages start at $20-$26 an hour depending on qualifications.
