Qualifications

For this role it is essential that you have:

• 5+ years experience selling digital media with a focus on advertisers and agencies

• Minimum 2 years managing a team of sellers

• Demonstrated experience consistently meeting or exceeding target goals, hunting for deals, navigating organizational hierarchies and engaging with upper management to close business

• Experience in a lead generating, preferably at a digital media company

• Strong analytical skills to collect business

Responsibilities

• Hunt new business using your own strategy of cold-calling, networking events, social media, in person visits, and personal branding

• Generating revenue by developing and scaling a pipeline of successful advertiser accounts – across brand, agency and publisher media-buyers alike

• You will develop relationships with prospective clients through phone, email, social media, in-person meetings and professional networking events (some travel may be required within the US 2-3 times per year)

• Enjoy the flexibility of planning how your time is spent and what customers you call on

• As an Advertising Sales Manager you will be responsible for calling on mid-sized brands and agencies across the West Coast

We collaborate with a number of SSP (supply-side platform) partners to help advertisers obtain high-quality traffic at the lowest feasible cost. To optimize the efficacy of our advertising platform, we are continually adding new SSP partners. Our mission is to give the most effective ad placements on the most effective websites and apps.

Based on performance, we will offer you a base salary plus commissions

First year Sales Representatives earn $85,000 – $90,000 on target earnings (OTE)!

• High performers can earn $95K-$105K+

• Top performers can earn $105K-$120K+

What does a typical week look like?

• Hunt new business using your own strategy of cold-calling, networking events, social media, in person visits, and personal branding

• Educate prospects on the Japio DSP product through provided marketing materials and educational demos

• Set face-to-face appointments and sales presentations with a limitless variety of local businesses in your community
