We are looking for a Full Time Shipping Specialist for our thriving downtown Seattle branch. You would be an integral part of the Operations team, working to ship a growing number of orders, get product in and out of our fulfillment center, and complete general office tasks with a high level of care and accuracy. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments – domestic and international.
• Assist in resolving logistics issues with carriers such as missing packages, delays, and scheduling.
• Help identify and implement logistics and warehouse optimizations, such as product packaging, carrier selection, routing, shipping modes, and process improvements.
• Handle all sample order management direct to the factories.
• Process shipments and returns.
• Perform periodic inventory counts.
• Maintain shipping supplies (order and organize)
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Establish good working relationship with other team members.
• Foster positive communications and relationships with customers and vendors.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and developments.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in meetings as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a mailroom/shipping service or warehouse role preferred.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience working with ERP systems – Microsoft D365 experience desired.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills in all areas including phone, emails, text messages, etc.
