Junior level position looking to develop into a Supply Chain Data Analyst (SCDA) within our organization. Help in the planning, managing, and executing of activities associated with detailed analysis and maintenance of all Vendor Master data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SCDA provides extensive support in the areas of Vendor Master Data Requirements, controls, processes, and data integrity. This junior level position will assist in interface with IT team members, platform resources, and end-users in the execution of his/her duties and responsibilities as defined:
- Create and maintain vendor master data for the J.B. Poindexter enterprise within JD Edwards
- Work directly with internal business partners to ensure data requests are complete and comply with company standards
- Coordinate subsequent data maintenance activities with the enterprise to assure completeness of data content
- Support and adhere to the company’s data cleansing and archiving policies and procedures
- Maintain a strong understanding of vendor master data requirements in JD Edwards and how it impacts data elements on all enterprise systems
- Ensure efficiency and data quality for all functions within the JD Edwards system
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Project management skills including excellent planning, time management, decision making and organizational skills
- Diligent work ethic, creating and meeting or exceeding deadlines with a strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, information technology preferred or any four-year college or university degree
- Results-oriented, dependable to complete assigned tasks on-time, puts in the necessary time and effort to meet deadlines without prompting
- Possess excellent communication, inter-personal and organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Quick learner, eager to further career in Supply Chain or data management
- Highly reliable self-starter; resourceful in solving problems and maximizing resources
- Meticulous worker; attentive to quality and detail
- No previous experience required
