As a Benefits Specialist, you will work as a member of the Corporate HR Benefits team to assist in managing the retirement plans. This is an exciting opportunity for a current college student to gain experience and knowledge in a Corporate HR setting with an opportunity for full-time employment upon graduation.
This position will work onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Greeley, CO and will work approximately 20 hours/week. Schedule is flexible based upon class schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the administration of JBS’ corporate benefit plans and programs. This may include any of the following:
Provide customer service for JBS employees, including answering emails and phone calls
Assist in the enrollment of employees in the 401(k) plans
Oversight of accurate record management in SAP and vendor systems
Accept the delegation of responsibilities from management and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of requested tasks
Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Work with a high level of interest, energy and enthusiasm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently a college student
Preferred degree – Business, Human Resources, Accounting, or Finance
Ability to complete multiple tasks on time
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to task
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following:
Base pay rate of $19/hr;
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and Pilgrim’s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
