Overview
The Engagement Coordinator at Thomas Jefferson University contributes to the success of student recruitment efforts by providing a positive experience to visitors in the East Falls Campus Admissions Visit Center. Additionally, the Coordinator will support event/visit strategies deployed by the team and will support recruitment initiatives, training and scheduling of student ambassadors. This position requires frequent interaction with faculty, staff, current students and guests to the University.
Essential Functions
· Visit Center Management: oversee the daily operation of the East Falls Campus Admissions Visit Center. Serve as the main point of contact in Enrollment Management to manage registration and on-site logistics for specialized visit programming (i.e. weekday and Saturday visits, campus tours, group visits, department visit days and class shadowing experiences).
· Ambassador Program: assist the team lead with the recruitment and training of student employees; manage the schedule of tours and process time sheets for campus tour guides.
· Prospective Student Services: serve as a brand ambassador by providing positive interactions to all guests to the Admissions Visit Center. Assist with departmentin-bound phone and email communications during peak periods of the year.
· Reporting & Analysis: work with colleagues in EM to create and monitoring reports; produce ad-hoc analyses. Utilize data to track results and course correct as needed.
· Key Collaborations: collaborate with key academic and administrative colleagues.
· Strategy & Engagement Team Responsibilities: as a member of the Enrollment Strategy & Engagement team within Enrollment Management, the Coordinator will contribute to efforts related to planning, policy & procedure development, quality assurance & effectiveness, and budget & team management.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required
· 1+ years college admissions or student affairs experience as a student employee and/or professional staff member is required
Position Location: This is an on-site position located on the East Falls Campus. Working hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend work.
Conditions of Employment
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
