Job summary
Growing aerospace company seeking a Human Resources professional to manage hiring, recruiting, payroll, and other duties assigned by the management team.
Responsibilities/daily tasks
· Review and edit time reports daily using ERP system
· Finalize and Forward payroll report weekly and send to accountant for processing
· Screen employee profiles and contact possible candidates
· Create and update job postings on internet-based job sites
· Interview possible candidates and screen for character, personality, and experience
· Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate party
· Maintain employee confidential files and employee training files, track using Microsoft excel
· Conduct New-Hire orientation, Issue paperwork, and review to ensure completion.
· Maintain employee wages and track general performance
· Coordinate, Plan, and Communicate company events
· Document employee disciplinary actions and employee meetings.
· Manage Accounts Payable as directed by the Vice President
· Administer company benefits programs according to all local and federal regulations
· Research and review new benefits options, keeping up to date on changing benefits law
· Administer Worker’s Comp first reports and file Claims as needed
· Knowledge of federal and state laws as it pertains to the company as well as the company handbook
· Experience completing annual reporting, i.e., census reports, 1094-c, 1095-c, etc.
· Assist in continuous improvement by drafting and issuing new processes and procedures as requested by management
· Other duties as requested by management
Qualifications
· Experienced using an ERP system, JobBoss experience is a plus
· General Human Resources Knowledge
· Knowledge of State and Federal law
· Possess the ability to accurately screen employee candidates
· Familiarity with online job boards
· Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Ability to adhere to confidentiality/ethical agreements
· Experienced using Microsoft Office Suite
· Possess good Verbal and Writing skills used for communication and documentation
· Possess good time management skills
Relation of the position to others in the company
The Human Resources Generalist works directly with the management team in handling all aspects of employee relations and any other task requested by management.
