OVERVIEW
This position is the right-hand administrative support to the Deputy Chief – Operations. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to law firm leadership from an operations perspective at a high profile and growing firm. This position works with a talented and collaborative operational excellence leadership team to support the responsibilities of the Deputy COO and the operational excellence department.
This position assists the Deputy COO and the operational excellence team to manage and execute daily requests and deliverables, as well as longstanding projects and deadlines. Specifically, this position proactively manages the Deputy COO’s calendar, organizes meetings, manages and organizes the Deputy COO’s email traffic (ensuring all important content is noticed by the Deputy COO and responded to timely), and assists the broader team to ensure the operational excellence department is functioning at its highest potential. Finally, the operational excellence team coordinator will organize timelines and ensure deliverables are met by the operational excellence team.
A key function of this position is to enable the Deputy COO to be able to work most effectively and efficiently. The coordinator supports the Deputy COO and the operational excellence team to bring organization, and improvement to day-to-day processes. A well-designed, continuously improved and well managed calendar of deliverables is a cornerstone.
