We are currently seeking a sales professional with a culinary background to develop relationships with operators on the Outer Banks. You will be required to work a Monday through Friday schedule, physically calling on primarily independent restaurants, and you will handle phone orders on weekends for Monday deliveries in this seasonal market.
Applicants for this position should have previous restaurant management experience, or worked in outside sales or preferably both. Relationships with the owners and managers of the restaurants in this region will be very helpful, as well as the ability to engineer a menu, train wait staff and offer other marketing services to these independent operators. Preparation and demonstration of products is also a requirement of the position. A successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for addressing needs promptly by making themselves available to solve service issues.
