Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center (JMMMMC) is located in Broken Bow, Nebraska (a Nebraska corporation, not-for-profit), operates a 23-bed critical access hospital, a 24-hour emergency room, 20-independent living apartments, an extensive listing of outpatient services and a 24-hour wellness center. JMMMMC exists to operate and maintain economically feasible health care services for the residents of the area. It provides a quality and nurturing environment for all patients, medical staff, and the public. JMMMMC provides a full continuum of care on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The extensive continuum and mission is supported by a team of 110 employees and 89 FTEs.

Broken Bow is a wonderful community located in the “Center of It All” on scenic Highway2, along the Sandhills Journey Scenic Byway. With a population of 3,600 friendly residents, we are able to meet the needs of an expansive service area that is home to more than 10,000 people to ensure that Broken Bow has something for everyone. We offer 126 total acres of parks in the city park system, a new aquatic center, softball and baseball diamonds, indoor/outdoor tennis facilities, fishing pond, picnic and camping facilities, and numerous playgrounds, there is fun to be had all day long. Responsibilities
Reporting to JMMMMC Board of Trustees, the CEO directs all functions of the hospital and facilities in keeping with the overall policies established by the Governing Board and in compliance with regulatory guidelines in order that the strategic objectives of the institution can be attained. Also, provides leadership and direction in ensuring the efficient, economical, and effective utilization of resources to meet the identified needs of the service region through quality medical care and all health service programs. The CEO’s principle duties and responsibilities include:
Qualifications
The candidate will have served as a successful chief executive officer or as an executive leadership role preferably in a Critical Access Hospital. Progressive provider relationship management and collaboration experience is preferred. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.

The successful candidate will receive an attractive and competitive compensation package that includes relocation, sign on bonus along with an excellent benefits package.
