Jim Miles Garage has been in operation for over 40 years, and has an opening for an Automotive Technician. We are a 5 bay independent repair facility, but don’t be fooled – we can compete with the bigger shops because we offer a better total compensation package! The ideal candidate will have a Missouri State Emissions and Safety Inspectors Licenses, but we are willing to train the right individual. ASE Certification would be a plus, and would qualify you for a higher hourly salary. Mechanical aptitude to perform all types of diagnosis and repairs on all types of automobiles, including, but not limited to, electrical, emissions, mechanical, electronic, HVAC, Etc. We also do engine and transmission removal and replacement. Automotive experience desired, but we will work with a motivated individual that wants to work and learn on the job. If you are motivated, we can give you an opportunity that includes competitive pay, no nights or weekends, flex time if needed, health, vision, and dental coverage, and educational reimbursement for classes / training as they are completed. We will even let you use the facility to work on your own vehicle as time allows, and buy parts at a reduced rate.
