J. L. Haley, Inc. a Division of Vander-Bend Manufacturing. We are a metal fabrication manufacturer, specializing in parts that are used in critical medical and transportation applications.

We are currently seeking an HR Manager at our Rancho Cordova location. The HR Manager is responsible for support and assistance in a broad range of policies and procedures. This position has access to sensitive employment information and must exercise a very high level of care and discretion in protecting such information.

· Employee Relations

· Conflict Resolution

· Process Workers Comp Claims

· Translations if applicable

· New hire orientation

· Terminations

· Data entry for HRIS system including entering new hires

· Make employee badges

· Assist employees with LOA and disability paperwork

· Participate in 401k enrollment

· Process 401k loans

· Scan and maintain employee electronic files

· State and Federal legal compliance

· Audit changes in HRIS to ensure accuracy and integrity of database

Education and Experience

· A related degree or 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Department.

Knowledge / Skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills. Computer skills including average Word and Excel abilities.

· Ability to change the thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
