Job Juncture Hiring for Human Resources Partner at North Canton, Ohio Full Time

The Human Resources Business Specialist will report to the Director of HR and serve as a Human Resources Generalist, which will support corporate functions and will work with the global human resources team.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)

1. Collaborates with leadership in support of change management initiatives along with ensuring the appropriate communication of these initiatives.
2. Works collaboratively with the Global HR team members to promote the consistent approach of HR practices throughout the organization.
3. Provides day-to-day guidance to managers/employees on a variety of HR matters, providing direction in compliance with government regulations, policies, procedures, as well as shares best practices.
4. Manages and resolves tier 1-2 employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations and referring to Employee Relations Manager when tier 3 or otherwise complex issues are raised
5. Participates and actively supports Succession Planning and IDP activities for business partners.
6. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions and proposed to business partners.
7. 5. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build positive morale and improve retention.
8. Provides guidance on training needs for business, as well as coaching needs, in conjunction with Organization Development team.
9. Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company’s 2025 Higher Standard Strategy.
10. Serves as primary HR contact for leaders assisting with matters related to employee relations, recruiting, and facilitates execution of activities with corporate HR functions including Compensation, Benefits, HR systems and Organizational Development.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

1. BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications; Master’s Degree preferred; SPHR/PHR Certification preferred
2. 7-10 years of experience as a Generalist in a global manufacturing environment preferred. Degree & experience combination will be taken into consideration.
3. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
5. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of HR activities, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the Legal Department as needed.
6. Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
8. Must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
9. Working knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems
10. Self-direction, autonomous approach to work required, with a customer-service focus
