Minimum 2 Year Experience as a Remote Software Developer

JobTracks Caribbean is currently seeking a Remote Software Developer who will support various functions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and the impact technology has across the entire organization. They must possess an enthusiasm for consumer facing digital technology and innovation and be able to listen and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities of the Remote Software Developer

• Develops Web Applications using C#, MVC, Webforms & Entity Framework
• Develops/supports T-SQL (e.g. stored procedures, views, functions, etc.)
• Remote Software Developer troubleshoots and problem solves development; tracks statuses, and communicates progress effectively to Management
• Remote Software Developer works with project managers to define project requirements for specific projects, Remote Software Developer monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolves problems; recommends actions.
• Follow SOLID and Clean Code/Clean Architecture principles for development.
• Remote Software Developer maintains professional and technical knowledge, through continuous learning, by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies etc.
• Application Developer performs other activities, duties and assignments as needed or requested.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases. Experience with scripting languages and efficient storage and retrieval techniques.
• Understanding of and ability to apply mathematical principles such as Big O notation.
• Strong written and verbal communications, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for resolving technical problems quickly and in line with platform strategy and vision.
• Effective time management, must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
• Schwab systems experience required.
• Must have a passion for problem-solving, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, and able to interact with all levels of technical and business teams.
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively across organizations and geographic locations.

Qualifications of Remote Software Developers:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 2+ years of development using a Microsoft technology stack, including .NET and C#.
• Strong experience with object oriented programming concepts, including algorithms and data structures.
• Strong experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases. Experience with scripting languages and efficient storage and retrieval techniques.
• Understanding of and ability to apply mathematical principles such as Big O notation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
