The HR-Safety Coordinator is responsible for all hiring, recruiting, employee housing, and employee development. He/she also coordinates all safety training, inspection, and policy.
Job Duties Include:
· Manage hiring and recruiting efforts
· Creates and maintains employee development programs
· Monitor employee compensation
· Develops HR policy
· Coordinates employee evaluation
· Maintains job descriptions
· Develops and coordinates employee orientation and onboarding
· Participates in weekly progress/update meetings
· Creates and fosters relationships with outside organizations, vendors, suppliers, etc.
· Develops company safety policy and maintains safety manual
· Conducts internal jobsite safety inspections & works with project management to ensure safety compliance
· Coordinates safety training & maintains records
· Assistance of benefits administration
· Employee housing administration
· Various paperwork
· Various marketing tasks such as social media and website development
· Basic IT functions
· All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 or 4 Year Business or related degree; or 2+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
