Johns Auto Sales Hiring for AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN with GROWTH POTENTIAL Job at Somerville, MA Full Time

Well established used car dealership has multiple openings. The right candidate is expected to develop and advance this position into a Service Manager role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary and applicable repair work.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes and air conditioning to required specifications.
• Provide labor and time estimates for all repair work.
• Maintain shop inventory.
• Properly dispose of hazardous waste.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 2-3 years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• Must provide your own tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid in-state driver’s license.

Full-time M-F 8:00 – 5:00 NO WEEKENDS!

Compensation – Competitive salary based on experience.
