Johnson Keland Management, Inc. has an outstanding opportunity for an accountant/bookkeeper to join our team in Racine, WI. (The title of this position is Client Representative.) This is a full-time, on-site position that will work at our company office in Racine, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
The Client Rep’s role is unique, varied and highly service-oriented. Responsibilities range from maintaining an accurate and current general ledger for clients and their related entities to coordinating clients’ personal finances, insurance and taxes. The position also provides administrative and concierge services for a variety of client matters.
To be successful in this position, you must have at least 5 years of previous accounting/bookkeeping experience and strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior experience with investment accounting/reconciliation is preferred. Highly professional demeanor, outstanding service attitude, including excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrated interpersonal and team collaboration skills including the ability to work flexibly with colleagues, adapt to change and champion company/team initiatives are vital. Strong organization and time management skills with attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and proactive follow-through on projects are also essential skills. An accounting degree is strongly preferred.
