We are looking for an HR & Recruiting Coordinator to join our Team in our mission to Change the World through the Power of Food! The position will report directly to the People Director.
Responsibilities
The Recruiting Coordinator helps develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization, guiding them from application through onboarding. They will bring new hires on quickly and accurately and will be the person getting all the relevant information into our HR systems.
Facilitate and implements all phases of the recruitment process
Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available roles, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft job postings
Assist with job posting and advertisement processes
Screen applications and select qualified candidates to move to the interview stage
Schedule interviews and follow-up for results
Perform reference checks
Perform/schedule background checks and drug testing as necessary
Work with the hiring manager and Director of Talent during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges
Prepare and send offer letters
Track the progress of completion of the onboarding packet guiding new hires as necessary
Keep hiring manager informed of applicant progress
Assist with enrollment of benefits
Perform new hire orientation as needed
Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
Respond to requests for employment verifications
Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
Provide phone and special project support to the main office as needed
Provide support to the Human Resources team
Various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Spanish Preferred
