Job Discription
Journey Mental Health Center is hiring a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator to further expand our efforts in nurturing belonging, promoting equity, and being an antiracist organization. This position will actively collaborate with the Chief Diversity Officer to support the implementation of Journey’s DEI Strategy. It will focus on (1) nurturing staff engagement with DEI, (2) delivering DEI trainings and events, (3) supporting the DEI staff groups and committees, and (4) supporting the implementation of Journey’s new Language Access Policy and Plan. This position will be grounded in the principles of belonging and equity with special attention to staff who are historically marginalized based on their race, gender, or culture. It will include opportunities to facilitate meetings, deliver trainings, and assist with program and staff development through consultation. This position is highly collaborative and cross-functional.
