Investment Operations Manager

We are looking for a versatile team member who is willing and able to wear multiple hats related to investment operations, financial planning, and client service support. We are a 2.7 billon + RIA based in Summit, NJ with an office in Walnut Creek, CA and expanding. We are an aggregator firm that offers full operational support to advisors and their teams. We are seeking a candidate with experience in the RIA space including working with the leading custodians and fin tech platforms. This candidate will need to be a strong multitasker with strong operations knowledge and an ability to pivot between projects with competing deadlines. The role spans both the strategic and tactical aspects of operations including but not limited to helping us refine and scale out current operations and tech infrastructure and helping us deliver service to advisors and their clients including billing and reporting. What we want our Investment Operations Manager to achieve the following in their first year:

• Maintain a same day-handling standard for all client service requests (not necessarily completion)
• Mastery of all our tech pieces and how they work together including Orion, Wealthscape, Riskalyze, Wealthbox, AssetMap, Aladdin

• Fill in for our Director of Operations, where needed
• Be able to pivot back and forth between supporting financial planners and operations and investment management teams members.

We are looking for our Investment Operations Manager to:

• Serve as “right-hand” to Director of Operations on managing operational needs of firm including billing, trading, reporting etc. and step in as needed.

• Responsible for new business processing including account opening and transfers with minimal

NIGOs.

• Manage and respond to incoming client service requests related to investment accounts such as account opening, beneficiary changes, wires etc.

• Prepare, review, and submit account servicing paperwork to ensure completeness and correct supporting documentation. Request and work with member firms and clients to obtain essential missing information.

• Help prepare advisors for financial planning reviews including providing key client data, statements, and information.

• Proactively ensuring that households are properly leveraging technology and have fully integrated wealth pictures.

• Serve as “right hand” to our CFPs to ensure that they have all the information they need to deliver planning services to clients.

We want someone with the following experience:

• Client service and/or investment operations experience
• Series 7 and 66 licenses (recommended but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Excellent communicator, with solid interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented (nothing gets past you)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Wealthscape or similar trading platform
• Familiarity with RIA space including tech pieces Orion, eMoney, Riskalyze & Aladdin
• Familiarity with insurance b/d space is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
