Bachelor’s in business administration or similar government contracting experience.
Job Description
Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions.
Create and maintain relationships with customer and suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to what’s best for the company.
Ability to solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.
Excellent negotiating skills and entering agreements.
Excellent knowledgeable about the details and potential benefits of any contracts.
Be the leading advocate against waste and inefficiency in government and company spending .
Exhibit excellent professionals’ skills in administering and negotiating contracts, preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), and supervising fulfillment of contract terms and conditions according to federal policies, regulations, and legislation.
Must be familiar with the FAR / DFAR
Draw upon advanced training to make sound business decisions when analyzing, preparing, and executing government contracts.
Strong ability to exercise independent judgment to assess current procedures and develop new policies and processes.
Strong ability to interface with contract support staff and business unit managers, customer and supplier law departments, senior management, and outside counsel.
Complete task in a timely manner.
Excellent organization skills.
Performed other duties as required.
