As a Senior Industrial Designer at Juggernaut Case, you will have an unprecedented level of access and understanding to current CONOPS that ensure soldier acceptance. You will be part of a dedicated team creating compelling, combat-proven products for our core military, enterprise and adventure seeking users. You will be responsible for driving both the user experience and each aspect of the industrial design of your assigned product or product area. Additionally, you will be responsible for project planning through prototyping, engineering hand-off, production and launch.. As a key member of a highly collaborative team, you will participate in field research and concept phases, working closely with our in-house Engineering teams, Product Management, Marketing and Sales teams and others to ensure that all objectives of the defined solution User Experience are met when the product reaches the user.
You will also act as a brand ambassador for the Juggernaut Case portfolio of products and evangelize for excellence in design with the internal teams.
This role is an onsite role at our HQ in Scottsdale, AZ.

– Develop products using conceptual sketching, 3D model making, rapid prototyping, CAD
modeling and photorealistic rendering visualization software tools. Seek to stay on top of
industry design tool developments and share your knowledge with the team.
– Mentor junior design staff and seek to share your knowledge freely with others.

– Seek out user/engagement data, proven design patterns, and co-worker input to aid in your
design efforts.
– Thoroughly and accurately document your progress and share your knowledge with others.
– Lead mid-scale projects from new concept development to product execution.
– Advocate for user-centered solutions using strong rationale based on data, market trends,
and user research.
– Partner with Product, Marketing, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and
Production to ensure product integrity and product objectives are achieved.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
– College Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.
– 7-10 years related work experience within industrial design and end-to-end product
development.
– Highly competent working in industry-standard 2D and 3D CAD software including Sketchbook
Pro, Keyshot 10, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and PowerPoint.
– Proficiency in physical model making and rapid prototyping tools.
– Demonstrated ability to lead direct cross functional engineering team communication.
– Impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to work creatively around difficult business,
technical and resource constraints.
– Experience working on a diverse range of projects similar to and within the Protect, Mount,
and Connect sectors of our portfolio.
– Ability to manage and lead multiple projects, execute creative deliverables on time and on
task, and prioritize different tasks in a fast-paced environment.
– Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to drive design solutions.
– Strong oral and written communication skills.
– An exceptional design portfolio which showcases work demonstrating impactful enterprise
and consumer product design solutions. It should be well-versed and clearly articulate user
problems, and the final design solution.
– Strategic Thinking – demonstrable ability to see the big picture, scenario plan, etc.
– Experienced in Design Thinking – familiar with user centered design and iterative processes.
– Knowledge of material and manufacturing processes.
– Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
