Just 4 Kids Home Health is a specialized pediatric service that is expanding to multiple areas of Eastern Idaho. The Home Health division is focused on providing unique care to each child and gives parents the peace of mind that they need and deserve. As Just 4 Kids Home Health grows, we seek to create a cohesive team of kind and passionate Registered Nurses that share in the vision of changing the world, one patient at a time.

The Home Health Registered Nurse’s primary duties are to:

• Complete comprehensive pediatric assessments and develop patient specific care plans.
• Measure, assess and record all vital signs and complete head-to-toe assessments with each visit.
• Observe symptoms and/or changes in the patient’s health and report to the pediatrician to ensure that proper treatment is always administered, effective, and altered when needed.
• Assess the home environment and communicate findings of concern to the appropriate leaders as necessary.
• Act as nurse advocate to safeguard the child, their rights and their welfare.
• Provide ongoing education and appropriate resources for children and their families.
• Assist with activities of daily living as required.
• Attend all required care coordination meetings and in-services.
• Communicate effectively with all disciplines providing care to the patient and family.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation as required by agency policy.

The preferred candidate for the Home Health RN will have the following:

• Must hold a valid Idaho nursing license (LPN or RN)
• Current BLS and/or ACLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Keen observational and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Must be up to date on immunizations.
• Must be self-motivated and an independent thinker.
• Comfortable in medically complex situations
