Job Summary
The Software Engineer is part of an agile team that designs, develops and supports market leading applications used before, during and after emergencies. We are looking for self-directed individuals who also functions well in a team environment. You should have a passion for working with clients to solve their business and support challenges.
This position involves full stack development for SaaS software hosted in Azure. Technologies include C#.NET, SignalR, jQuery, TypeScript, NUnit, SQL, Azure Service Bus, and GitLab.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the team’s design of solutions that help our users save lives.
Perform full stack software development, including database, services, and front end.
Develop new solutions and refactor older code to provide a superior user experience.
Write automated tests.
Peer review other team member’s work and provide constructive feedback.
Evaluate newly emerging technologies and participate in business decisions regarding which ones to adopt.
Troubleshoot escalated support issues.
Work with our operations team to continuously improve product environments and automated build/deployment process.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
5+ years of technical software development experience with a minimum of 3 years of C#.
Expertise in Object Oriented Design.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with TypeScript preferred.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Able to write effective unit and integration tests.
