KabaFusion Hiring for Patient Billing Representative Job at Cerritos, CA Full Time

As a Patient Billing Representative, you will determine the ultimate financial responsibility of the patient and prepare patient statements for services not covered by insurance. This is an outward facing role with frequent patient interaction and KabaFusion expects that you will act in a courteous and professional manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Investigates payment status and determines patient financial responsibility
• Answers patient questions on patient responsible portions, copays, deductibles, etc. Resolves patient complaints or explains why certain services are not covered.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and data integrity in accordance with Health Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical billing experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
