Education Project Manager
The Education Project Manager will serve as a customer launch and implementation manager, responsible for leading implementation and training efforts for school district clients across the country. Activities include tracking the client launch process, internal coordination of service delivery with various business units, external coordination with client and other project stakeholders, and planning and conducting client training sessions.
The individual filling this role should have familiarity with use of technology in K-12 educational settings and be able to interact with school and school district personnel at all levels. The candidate will ensure client success, exceeding their expectations throughout the launch and implementation process. You’ll work directly with clients before, during and after their implementation, promptly assisting them with their Kajeet services and ensuring they are getting maximum value out of their purchased services. This is a perfect role for someone who is a self-starter and possesses great organizational and multi-tasking skills. This position will report to the Director of Operations and will work closely with operations, sales, and marketing.
A Day in the Life Will Likely Include:
· Lead deployment and launch of new clients through development, implementation, and maintenance of project plans.
· Interact with clients as the key point of contact during the implementation process, building confidence with proactive communication.
· Conduct customer training sessions on Kajeet’s Education Broadband programs in a variety of settings (i.e. webinars, 1:1 online meetings, onsite, etc.).
· Assist in further development and maintenance of ‘best practice’ methodologies and documentation for use by clients and the Kajeet operations team.
· Develop and maintain expertise in Kajeet products and applications particularly in respect to use in educational settings.
· Work closely with school district staff, guiding them through use of their mobile broadband connectivity, which includes hardware, software and wireless network connectivity.
· Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with educators, staff, administrators and Kajeet team members.
· Understand the clients’ needs and help Kajeet improve our products.
· Work with school or district staff and administration to plan for future needs, helping them realize the impacts of various technology programs and what they need to do to prepare for future needs.

This position requires significant attention to detail, as well as constant communication with internal team members, external clients and third-party service providers. The successful candidate is proactive, possesses the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects, has strong problem-solving skills, works well with others and learns quickly, as well as, the following:
· Bachelor’s degree in academic technologies, education, business, or a related field.
· 3+ years of project management experience.
· Experience within the K-12 educational technology space is preferred.
· Detail-orientation with an ability to prioritize and meet aggressive goals.
· Demonstrate ability to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish goals.
· Flexibility to deal with client and internal challenges as they arise, and the ability to develop and implement strategies to overcome these challenges.
· Ability to create and present information succinctly.
· Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of software.
· Proficiency in using Salesforce.com.
· Solid written, oral, and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences inside and outside the organization.
· Experience working in a start-up environment desired, with strong “do-it-yourself” work ethic.
