The Manager, Human Resources (HRM) oversees all aspects of sourcing and recruiting of candidates for both salaried and hourly positions in his/her assigned facility. Additionally, the HRM owns the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs for his/her assigned facility. The HRM will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resources Information System (ADP), associate relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. This individual will support programs to foster a positive and engaged environment, communicating policies and working with local management to resolve associate relations issues as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or business-related field preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• SHRM CP-SCP/PHR/SPHR helpful
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience that includes accountability for the HR functions in a diverse environment.
• 5+ years strong recruitment experience required
• 5+ years managing HR/ associate relations with an hourly workforce in a fast-paced environment required
• Strong oral and written skill set
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with ADP platforms, including E-Time, Enterprise, ADPRM helpful
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 operation
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute a best-in-class talent acquisition process focused on attracting and retaining high performing talent
• Identifies trends in turnover and recommends solutions
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects associates to fill vacant positions
• Coordinates new hire and new leader orientations
• Coordinates training and cross-training activities within facilities
• Effectively coaches leadership in matters relating to people, HR processes, programs, and corresponding impact to the business
• Ability to recommend and create effective counseling or coaching documentation
• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
• Partners with Compensation team to conduct wage surveys within labor market or analyze wage and salary data to determine competitive compensation plan for his/her assigned facility
• Assist with hosting events designed to increase morale and company culture
• Ensure facility leadership is fully trained and is up to date on all performance management activities (including but not limited to reviews, goal setting, development planning, etc)
• Partners with corporate HR team to formally and informally investigate and advise management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues
• Manages resolution of associate relations investigations to ensure fair, consistent, and proper resolution in consideration of company policy, procedures, and values
• Writes and responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
• Prepares associate separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
• Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
• Processes temporary labor requests to fill needs within facilities
• Manages HRIS and administrative tasks to provide proper and accurate data entry, maintenance and reporting in a timely manner
• Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations if needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
