Kelly Hiring for Recruiter at Farmington, Connecticut Full Time

Kelly has an opening as a Human Resources/Recruiting Assistant for a client that is a top manufacturer of precision machinery in Farmington, CT. The starting pay for this position is $25/hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement strategies to meet staffing requirements
• Work with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and procedures
• Conduct recruiting efforts for all positions including: prescreening resumes, conducting interviews, and collecting feedback from managers
• Ensure recruiting process is compliant with all federal/state regulations regarding employment
• Provide guidance to interviewing managers/supervisors regarding appropriate interview questions/techniques
• Work with managers to identify candidates for hire ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Present and negotiate offers to selected candidates
• Maintain records of applicants and open positions using Applicant Tracking System

Experience & Requirements

• 3 years of recruiting experience required; previous HR experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of employment laws: Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, Americans With Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, etc.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required; Degree in HR or related field preferred
