Kelstar Insurance Agency Hiring for Contract Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Kelstar Inc is a forward-looking company that runs a commercial insurance agency serving small to medium sized companies. Kelstar is looking for high quality, team-oriented people to join our high-performance team.

Kelstar runs Microsoft Business Central, formerly known as NAV, for accounting. The system was implemented in October of 2021. Kelstar needs some temporary help to catch up our accounting entries. Expect 15 to 25 hours per week for 2 to 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Book monthly expense transactions
• Book other transactions as needed
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Reconcile AR and AP
• Validate Revenue
• Reconcile commission statements
• Assist with Agency Bill Accounting
• Prepare Financial Statements

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting experience
• 3 years of Business Central (NAV) experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Prefer 1 year of experience in an insurance agency or other insurance related job
• Prefer Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Compensation Plan

• Contract. This role is not a W2 role. it is 1099.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
