Job Title: Sr Manager Human Resources – Field Services
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Summary:
Regional Sr. Manager provides HR leadership and partnership to our Commercial organization across business segments. Drives continuous improvement, cultural transformation, and standardized HR operating system. Develop and implement talent solutions that help impact business results. Leads strategic HR agenda: talent and succession planning, compensation design, change management, senior management talent acquisition, industrial relations, and employee engagement initiatives workforce planning.
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Advise, influence, and guide all levels of leadership on the HR implications of business strategies and all aspects of people-management and leadership
* Challenge status quo driving and facilitating diversity of thought
* Partner with HR colleagues and business leadership in organizational assessment and diagnosis to translate business strategies into actions that deliver results and improve organizational capability
* Coach and develop direct reports to drive engagement, succession planning and career development
* Identifies trends and partners with leadership to create and implement plans to address challenges (skill gaps, turnover, diversity, utilization, performance improvement/management, organization design and restructuring, etc.).
* Partner with operations leadership on people, organization and business strategy, talent management, development & acquisition, employee engagement and organizational capability
* Develops, maintains, and communicates key HR metrics and scorecards that define org performance and growth. Reinforces corporate strategies for alignment to objectives that impact the enterprise operation
* Ensures performance management systems are being followed through intervention, coaching and business partnerships
* Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to provide strategic staffing and recruitment consultation.
* Execute the rollout of ongoing Talent Programs around performance management, organization and talent assessment, engagement and more.
Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates:
* Bachelor’s Degree
* 8-10 years of relevant work experience required
Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:
B.S. in Business or Human Resources, Organizational Development or Industrial Psychology
In-depth knowledge of working in a matrix organization
Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, etc., which govern employment policies and practices
Thorough understanding and application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices and standards
Excellent planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator
Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues
Limited supervision and direction is provided, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently
Working knowledge of MS Office
Experience working with HR database
Strong business and compensation acumen
