Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
As the largest collegiate dance program in the state of Georgia, the KSU Department of Dance enrolls over 130 dance majors, employs 16 full/part-time faculty, and is housed in state-of-the-art dance facilities, including metropolitan Atlanta’s only Dance Theater. Concentrations in ballet and modern are offered through the B.A. in Dance that was started in 2009. The KSU Dance Company has received top honors at the American College Dance Association and has been invited to perform at the Kennedy Center in’five’national years.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Dance faculty position in The Department of Dance, starting August 2022.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can advance the department’s commitment to excellence through diversity, and who can develop curricula with broad perspectives on the field of dance.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Ph.D., EdD, or foreign equivalent in Dance History/Theory, Dance Studies, Performance Studies, Dance Education, or MFA with evidence of Scholarship in Dance and a proven track record in publishing (strong ABD candidates may also be considered).
