Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management is a growing, research active department focused on supporting student success to those enrolled in our Master of Science in Exercise Science, Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics, Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Minor in Nutritional Science programs. With more than 10,000 square footage, of state of the art laboratory space, we offer a student-centered and research driven educational experience.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor of Exercise Science faculty positions in the growing Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management beginning August 2023.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Department’s student-centered and research driven educational experience through maintaining a record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals while also supporting student success through course instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level in the area of exercise physiology within this nine-month, tenure-track position. In addition, candidates are expected to contribute to departmental, college, university, and professional service.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
An earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in exercise physiology, or a related field is required.
