Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for full-time, nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor of Integrated Health Science faculty positions in the Department of Health Promotion & Physical Education beginning August 2024.
The Integrated Health Science program is explicitly interdisciplinary, drawing from a range of disciplines related to a variety of health fields. This degree provides students with a flexible, non-clinical curriculum designed to provide students a broad overview of health and healthcare, preparing them for both direct entrance into health-related careers or for graduate training in health professions. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with interdisciplinary colleagues to prepare tomorrow’s health professionals with exemplary education.
Responsibilities include the following, at a minimum:
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in health science, allied health, mental or behavioral health, public health, or health services administration or a related discipline, is required.
For ABDs, the required degree must be earned by start date.
