Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The Department of Secondary and Middle Grades Education (SMGE) offers undergraduate programs in Middle Grades Education and Secondary Education as well as graduate programs (M.A.T., M.Ed., Ed.S., Ed.D.) in various middle and secondary area concentrations. Service courses are also offered to support secondary, elementary, and PK-12 programs. The department faculty are committed to the development of expertise in teaching and learning in collaboration with units across campus and local school districts. Our programs foster the development of knowledge, skills, and dispositions required of educators who design and implement integrated instructional programs for learners that are developmentally and culturally responsive.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, twelve-month, administrative faculty position as a tenured Professor and Chair of the Department of Secondary and Middle Grades Education in the Bagwell College of Education that begins July 1, 2024.
Responsibilities
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
