Department Information
The Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology is the second largest engineering college in Georgia with over 5,000 students. Students receive hands-on learning experiences from industry-expert faculty in the University’s state-of-the-art facilities to produce Georgia’s next generation of integrated engineers, with technical knowledge, intellectual depth, and experience in professional skills. With two programs in the Top 20 largest programs, the college has the third largest African American student enrollment among engineering colleges. Electrical and Computer Engineering consists of approximately 1000 undergraduate and graduate students and 20 full-time faculty members. The faculty are committed to growing a program which is nationally recognized for providing an outstanding education to aspiring engineers, as well as peer-reviewed research with relevance. Scholarship in the Department includes both industry- and government-funded research projects focused on the practical application of engineering principles. The faculty have expertise in areas including renewable energy, advanced computing, and signal processing, and best practices in engineering education.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Clinical Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a preferred start date of August 1, 2022.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include: teaching undergraduate and potentially graduate courses throughout the curriculum, with an emphasis on providing industry perspectives to ECE students and courses, facilitating connections with industry (via the Industry Advisory Board and otherwise), and bringing industry speakers to campus. Additional service activities at the department, college, or university level may be expected.
