Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The mission of our department is to provide high-quality, applied marketing and professional sales education to students, businesses, and the community. Thus, our focus is on hiring and nurturing faculty who contribute significantly to the knowledge bases within marketing, whose research is innovative and focused on improving the marketing discipline, and whose approach to curriculum is innovative and collaborative, focused on continuous improvement.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Marketing and Professional Sales faculty position in the Department of Marketing and Professional Sales that begins in August 2023.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position support the mission and goals of the Coles College of Business and the Department of Marketing and Professional Sales including actively participating in departmental and college activities.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
To teach undergraduate courses:
A Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to Marketing or a closely related discipline is required.
OR
A Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.
To teach graduate courses:
A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Marketing or a related discipline is required.
