Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The College of Science and Mathematics at Kennesaw State University is an inclusive community of scholars, focused on helping students from all backgrounds succeed in their goals. The Department of Physics has 23 full-time faculty members dedicated to student learning, scholarly research, and service to our university, community, and profession. Our program currently serves over 80 majors pursuing a BS degree in Physics with concentrations in General Physics, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Our students are active in undergraduate research and student organizations. The department has a strong commitment to student success as well as inclusive excellence and engagement. We have active research programs in computational optics, materials physics, theoretical and experimental particle physics, and astrophysics. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for nine-month, non-tenure track faculty positions as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer of Physics in the Department of Physics beginning August 2023.
Responsibilities
A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty.
