Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) prepares students for success through innovative, quality academic experiences in the areas of physical sciences, life sciences and mathematical processes. Research in the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) is a large part of graduate, as well as undergraduate students’ studies. CSM offers several significant internal research funding opportunities, maintains core facilities for faculty research, and is developing a robust program for mentoring and career development of faculty.
The Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology (EEOB) is committed to the intentional cultivation of a community of inclusive excellence. The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) unites a diverse and dynamic body of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to understanding molecular interactions and their outcomes across many scales, from the single-celled to the collective organization of multicellular organisms. We aim to position our students as the next generation of scientists, health professionals, educators, and enlightened citizens while promoting faculty and staff success.
EEOB and MCB offer a thesis-based MS degree in Integrative Biology (MSIB).
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for multiple nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor faculty positions in the College of Science and Mathematics beginning August 2023 in:
Faculty will have a home department in either Ecology, Evolution, & Organismal Biology or Molecular & Cellular Biology. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with research programs that align with one or both of the following themes:
Faculty will have access to state-of-the-art research space and core facilities, including a vivarium, confocal and super-resolution microscopy, bioreactor, mass spectrometry, microscale thermophoresis, electron microscopy, and NMR (see https://csm.kennesaw.edu/research/core-facilities/index.php for details).

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to establish an extramurally funded research program in one of the fields aligned with the College of Science and Mathematics Research Interest Groups (https://csm.kennesaw.edu/research/research-interest-groups/index.php) and focused on one of the themes listed below.
Candidates who can develop a research program that complements the college’s current research portfolio are particularly encouraged to apply.
